Abstract: L'ecologia studia i rapporti tra gli esseri viventi - l'uomo, gli animali, le piante - e l'ambiente naturale in cui vivono. Le attività industriali e agricole hanno modificato l'ambiente più negli ultimi centocinquant'anni che in tutti i millenni trascorsi a partire dalla preistoria! Questo determina un maggior consumo di ossigeno, d'acqua e di energia e causa l'accumulo di prodotti di scarto che inquinano l'aria, l'acqua e il terreno. Leggendo questo libro capirai cosa significa l'ecologia e che cosa ognuno di noi può fare per difendere l'ambiente.
