Abstract: Quando Edward Cullen e Bella Swan si sono incontrati in Twilight, una storia d'amore destinata a diventare di culto ha avuto inizio. Ma finora la loro storia è stata raccontata solo dal punto di vista di Bella. Finalmente, con Midnight Sun, i lettori conosceranno la versione di Edward. Abstract: It is a traditional folk custom in China’s Central Shaanxi Plain to “play with lanterns” to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Little Zhaodi has received a lantern from her uncle and is happy to join her playmates in the game. In a merry and poetically expressive voice, the narrator tells about a childhood that today mostly only exists in people’s recollections. Zhu Chengliang vividly illustrates the festive atmosphere and the joyfulness of the playing children against the backdrop of snow-covered village streets, evoking a sense of nostalgia in the realization that all this will soon be over, just like the tradition itself. Zhu Chengliang is the illustrator of “Tuan Yuan” (A New Year’s Union), which was selected into The New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Books of 2011. He was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2016. Wang Yage is a young writer majoring in Classical Chinese Literature. “Da deng long” is her debut in picture books.

Abstract: Questo romanzo autobiografico racconta la vita dell'infanzia in una piccola città nel nord della Cina negli anni '60. Haizi, il protagonista, desiderava ardentemente avere i suoi piccioni e un'estate si ritrova con un paio di loro. Salvandoli dal macellaio, che è un bullo, Haizi riacquista fiducia nella vita e nel mondo. La narrazione in stile colloquiale conferisce a questo romanzo un sapore affascinante e ha ricevuto grandi elogi dalla critica.

Abstract: Guo Zhenyuan's "Don't Let the Sun Fall (Fine)" tells a story of "falling from the sky": a group of small animals found that the sun had fallen while playing on the mountain. In order to prevent the sun from falling, they exhausted their efforts. Some tie the sun, some pry the sun, some top the sun ... Finally the sun is finally dug out. Animals that prevent the sun from falling down are like natural, immature children, and behind this silly story is childlike instinct and fearlessness. The famous picture book writer Mr. Zhu Chengliang was inspired by the traditional Chinese lacquer ware, and integrated the rustic beauty of folk art into the book, so that we once again experienced the charm of folk art. Innocent and childlike text and humble naive pictures let us return to the interest of exploring the natural world, and experience a kind of primitive beauty, a childlike beauty, and a beauty from the heart.

Abstract: Father bear takes his son named Kaka out for food. Father bear reminds his son not to eat rabbit grass and if so, he will turn into a rabbit. And then they start off. Father bear always protects little bear on the way and when the little bear sees the grass with white flower, he cannot bear to not have it. Father bear determines to taste it first and turns into a rabbit. Little bear becomes strong and brave. He takes father home and never feels panic in face of tiger, bees, thunderstorm and river. He protects father instead. When father eats honeycomb, he turns back and father said to little bear that he finally grows up.

Abstract: Arrivò la prima neve in inverno e Xiao Ai e il suo cucciolo corsero insieme nella piccola foresta, perché una volta il nonno disse che quando cade la prima neve nella piccola foresta, accadranno cose magiche. Può davvero succedere qualcosa di magico? Xiao Ai seguì lo strano suono e gradualmente si addentrò nelle profondità della piccola foresta. Un cervo misterioso che apparve all'improvviso attirò la sua attenzione.
